I highly recommend Absolutely Edible Cakes for custom cakes that are aesthetically pleasing as well as delicious. I ordered a custom Lemon Rosemary cake for my birthday on really short notice (about a 5 days before my bday). AEC was the only bakery willing to take my order and they did an amazing job. The cake was very tasty! The hint of rosemary was subtle but added a nice touch to the overall lemon flavor. The buttercream icing was rich but not overpowering. I was also glad to be able to support a small business!
My wife and I had our wedding on 11/9. My mother-in-law took care of all the arrangements and ordered a Caramel cake for me and a White cake for my wife. They both had an appearance out of a magazine or a bake show and were so delicious. Anybody in the Rockwall, Texas area, don’t hesitate to stop by and check them out.
I’ve never even been to TX and I had the pleasure of meeting Nikki when she visited my restaurant here in Ohio. . . Due to her sweet spirit we got talking and I learned that’s she’s been spreading love through her food and she was kind enough to bless me with a slice of her sweet thang!! BAYYYY-BEEEEE! When I tell you it MELTED upon impact with my tongue! My boyfriend snatched it from my hands and I couldn’t stop the tear that slid down my cheek as I watched it disappear for good. . . Now I’m contemplating separation and relocating to TX just to be closer to my new love. . . The warning on the back of the box is true. So please be mindful when you get your slice that no matter how slow you eat it you will be depressed when it’s gone! . . . Nikki I’m grateful that you and your family stopped by Brunch’ology as it was nice meeting you all. I pray for continued success over your business for endless years to come. If you’re ever in town visiting again I hope you all get a chance to stop by, but please don’t be empty handed because I’ll empty the register for another slice! Lol. . . Thank you again! What an incredibly creative cake we had at our sons graduation party! We couldn’t believe the detail and effort Nikki and her staff put into making it unique for my son. Definitely one of a kind. Nikki is very professional, fun, and I will always go back!!! The staff at our dinner didn’t want to cut it because it was so cool, asked if they could take pics so we let them join in on our celebration. Thank you for making our first custom cake order a fantastic one!
